You’re putting “no gifts” on invites, but you are open to gifts, just quieter gifts, and you have a list of appropriate gifts, in case someone says “I know you said no gifts, but what if you didn’t mean it?” and also money (“flat gifts” is a new one to me) is welcomed and goes in the college account?
